Formed in 2006, Imaging Consumables Intelligence Group (ICIG) is an independent consortium of trademark security consultants & investigators whose prime function is to gather intelligence, investigate and help bring to justice those persons and organizations involved in the criminal activity of producing and or supplying counterfeit printer, fax & copier consumables anywhere in the Australia Pacific, SE Asia and Asia regions.

 

ICIG is supported by major OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers), the aftermarket industry including recyclers, re-manufacturers, compatibles manufacturers and allied industries involved in the legitimate production & supply of ink & toner products.

 

We also rely on information provided to us by the general public including those who may be an unwilling participant in the manufacture or supply of counterfeit ink & toner products. Generous rewards are available to those who assist us in this program.

 

The ICIG Head office is located in Brisbane, Australia. Our field agents are professional investigators located in several key regions including China, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong. These strategic locations allow us to service the entire Asia-Pacific region.

 

Though ICIG was formed in 2006, the Principals have all been involved in investigating & researching the illegal trade of counterfeit print, copier & fax consumables for many years and have an excellent background of successful operations against counterfeiters throughout the region. We understand the methods used by counterfeiters and the harm they cause to legitimate industry, office machinery & public goodwill.
